The Miami Hurricanes lost to the University of Pittsburgh on Saturday 24-14 and the game wasn’t even that close. Hurricane Quarterback Malik Rosario had an awful day consistently missing wide open receivers.
This had been the theme for most of the Hurricanes season narrowly escaping defeat against inferior teams with the exception of the win over Notre Dame. That game and one other pole vaulted the Hurricanes into the national spotlight. However it’s a long season and the Hurricanes faulted.
They still have the upcoming game against number 3 Clemson to elevate them possibly back into the playoff picture, but it’s unlikely.
Finally the Wisconsin Badgers will move into playoff contention after they dispose of Michigan on Saturday. For those doubters who say they haven’t played anybody, any team that can run the ball behind a massive offensive line and play defense is a recipe for winning. That’s all Wisconsin has done for as long as I can remember which is a long time.
