Sometimes in life, everything you do turns out wrong. Your intentions were good but good intentions sometimes are the pathway to hell
Sometimes life just feels out of control. Sometimes it feels like people or circumstances are controlling your life for you. In those moments, it is important to remember what you CAN control!
Personally, I experienced a tragedy that will live with me forever. I lost my daughter, my only child, my pride and joy. There are no adjectives to adequately describe the pain. I will live with a hole in my heart forever.

That said there several steps I took that have allowed me to go on. Honestly, for a year or so, I did not want to, I had no purpose
A Psychologist who uses a method called EMDR, suggested I try it. EMDR works with a process called Rapid eye desensitization. It was the bomb, as they say. It worked magic.
It was intense, it brought me to tears almost every session. However, after each session, I felt like a new man. After six months of sessions, I could cope again, I got my life back. Make no mistake I still hurt but I persevered.
That’s an example of not having control. That’s an extraordinary example of being out of control.
Nevertheless, of all the medication available for such things, for all the therapy, one thing and only one thing cures it all. That is love. There is no substitute for LOVE.
The Beatles and John Lennon said it best “All you need is love” To me that has been my anecdote. I was fortunate and met a lovely lady, who has showered me with love. The power is greater than any drug.
Great post 🙂
